Welcome to Skokie School District 68!
I am honored to serve as Superintendent and appreciate your interest in our schools and learning community.
At Skokie School District 68, our mission is clear: each and every student is supported to belong, inspired to grow, and challenged to learn. Together with our vision of preparing all learners to succeed, act with empathy, and contribute meaningfully to a diverse and changing world, we are focused on aligning these commitments to every decision we make. Through strong partnerships with our students, families, staff, and community, we create the conditions for every learner to thrive.
Clear and open communication is an important part of that partnership. If you have a question, concern, or are looking for support, I encourage you to visit our Communicating Concerns page. This guide is designed to help you quickly connect with the individual best positioned to assist you, ensuring questions are addressed efficiently and at the appropriate level.
This is also an exciting time for our district as we launch our 2026–2031 Strategic Plan. Developed through a thoughtful and inclusive planning process that engaged hundreds of staff members, families, community partners, and Board Members, the plan embodies the voices of our learning community. Built around WE ARE 68 Core Values (Wellness, Equity, Achievement, Relationships, Everyone), it establishes four strategic pillars—Classroom, Community, Culture, and Care—that will guide our work over the next five years. Together, we will focus on student success, equity, staff growth, and meaningful community engagement while measuring our progress and continuously improving to meet the evolving needs of our students.
As Superintendent, I am proud to bring more than two decades of experience as a teacher, principal, and district leader, with a commitment to equity, innovation, and student-centered learning. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building collaborative, inclusive schools where every student can succeed. That commitment continues here in Skokie 68, where I am proud to serve this exceptional community alongside our dedicated educators, staff, families, and Board of Education.
Thank you for visiting our website and for taking the time to learn more about Skokie School District 68. I invite you to explore our schools, programs, and resources, and I look forward to partnering with you as we continue building an outstanding future for every learner.
