This is an announcement that Niles Township's Summer Camp Financial Assistance will begin accepting applications on February 13, 2025 at 12pm!

Please note the following before applying:

 If you have not done so, please apply to your park district for financial assistance first. 

Child(ren) must be officially registered in a Park District Camp Program which means that a deposit has been made to the desired Park District.

Applications will be awarded once all documents have been received on a first come first serve basis.

 

Eligibility guidelines in full (including income guidelines) will be posted on the second page of the application. Important pieces of information to remember:

 

Children MUST meet all of the following criteria in order to qualify for assistance:

-Be a resident of Niles Township

-Be between 5 and 12 years old by September 1st, 2025

-Be registered at a public park district camp located within Niles Township

 

Families MUST meet all of the following criteria in order to qualify for assistance:

-Be resident(s) of Niles Township

-Be legal guardians of the children for whom they are applying for assistance

-All caregivers in the home must either be fully employed (20+ hours per week) or attending school or a combination of the two that equates to being engaged for 20+ hours per week

-Meet the income guidelines as stated on the second page of the Summer Camp Assistance application (NOTE: the family must also have equal to or less than the income guideline amount in savings to qualify)

 

To access the application, go to this website at 12pm on Thursday, February 13th and scroll down to the heading "Camp Scholarships." There will be a link to the application that you can access via DocuSign.
